Welcome to Inspiration
I offer a blend of personal and career counseling to help you navigate the challenges of life and worklife transition and explore new possibilities.

How We'll Work Together
I have developed effective skills in my two decades of helping people who are at a turning point in their life. I specialize in working with adults, and most of my clients are going through a career transition, for a variety of reasons.
My counseling style is humanistic, which is an approach that focuses on promoting self-awareness, personal growth, and self-discovery by emphasizing a client's inherent worth and potential. It views individuals as inherently good and capable of self-directed change and growth. I create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.
Another approach I use is Narrative therapy, which focuses on how people create and share stories about their lives, helping them to re-author their stories and create new, more empowering narratives. Many of my clients experience a feeling of writer's block, especially when it comes to work.
I am trained in the Enneagram and our counseling can be informed by this map of self awareness and healing. I use a strength-based approach that allows my clients to understand major themes in their lives and appreciate who they've become because of their stories. I help people understand and overcome shame, trauma and imposter syndrome, and celebrate who they are becoming.

Reasons for Working with Me
Some of the reasons clients have reached out to me are listed below. Many of these include addressing mental health concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, shame or trauma. Mental and emotional wellness can impact both our decision-making and engagement in the process, and often needs to be addressed as we explore career concerns. As a complex and unique person you deserve to be treated as a whole person.
